ASTM B163/ASME SB163 UNS N02200/DIN 2.4066/ALLOY 200 NICKEL ALLOY SEAMLESS TUBE FOR HEAT EXCHANGER
Overview:
UNS N02200 is a commercially pure (99.6%) nickel alloy that is known for its excellent corrosion resistance properties, particularly in reducing environments. This alloy exhibits good mechanical properties, high thermal conductivity, and low electrical resistivity, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including chemical processing, electrical and electronic components, and marine engineering.
UNS N02200 seamless tubes are commonly used in various heat exchanger and condenser applications in chemical processing and other industries. These tubes are manufactured in compliance with ASTM B163, which specifies the requirements for seamless nickel and nickel alloy condenser and heat-exchanger tubes.
UNS N02200 seamless tubes are available in a range of sizes and wall thicknesses to suit different applications and operating conditions. They can be supplied in annealed and pickled, cold-drawn, or cold-rolled condition, depending on the customer's specific requirements.
UNS N02200 seamless tubes offer good resistance to corrosion, especially in reducing environments, making them suitable for use with acids, alkalis, and other corrosive substances. They are also highly resistant to stress-corrosion cracking, and their good mechanical properties ensure high strength and durability.
